The Raisin Process

From the Farm

The first step to producing good raisins is growing quality grapes in the vineyards. Grape farming is a year-round commitment and includes the practices of pruning, irrigation, fertilization, and pest control. Most of the work done in these vineyards is still done by hand.

Processing Facility

Our state of the art processing facility can process and store a maximum of 14,000 tons of raisins each year. Once the raisins arrive at the facility they are thoroughly inspected, sorted and stored at ambient temperature up until process time. The process line consists of a number of phases to ensure the best quality product.

Quality Control

Quality control is an important part of each step in the raisin making process. Redsun Raisins' team of specialists are there every step of the way, from vine to packaging, assisting and assuring the highest quality raisins.
