    The ETI Base Code is an internationally recognised code of labour standards for businesses, founded on the conventions of the International Labor Organisation.

RedSun Raisins is a privately owned, South African company, established in 2009. We are processors of high quality raisins which are produced along the banks of the Orange River, in the Northern Cape Province, of South Africa.

The Orange River, is well known for fresh table grapes and raisins, both of the very highest quality. There are also well established wine cellars in the region.

RedSun Raisins is in the forefront of the ambitious, new generation of raisin processors in South Africa. We believe that our solid, international marketing network will ensure the development of our business, and with us, the continued prosperity of the 250 growers along the Orange River, who deliver their raisins to us.

Raisins are nature's candy. They are one of the most nutritious dried fruits in the world. They provide many necessary vitamins and minerals, including iron, potassium, calcium and certain B vitamins. Raisins are a good source of fibre and rich in antioxidants. Raisins are 70% pure fructose which is easily digested for quick energy.

Raisins that are brought from local farmers are made from a variety of seedless grapes. The three types of dried sultanas namely leak, bleached and Thompson seedless forms the most important part. Majority made medium sized with a few jumbo and bold sizes.
